Summer Essential Oil Spray Workshop

Join us for a creative summer workshop where you’ll blend and bottle your own essential oil sprays inspired by the season. Create refreshing mists for your body, home, yoga mat, linens, or outdoor spaces using bright citrus, calming florals, cooling mint, and fresh herbal scents. All materials are included, and you’ll leave with custom sprays, recipes, and simple blending knowledge you can use all summer long.

Asana Workshop - Dancers Pose

Join us for a 90 minute all level yoga class designed to prepare students to explore and experience Dancers Pose. Class to include the myth behind the pose, and the intent of what the pose is to teach us.

Watercolor Yoga

We all have innate creativity and are sometimes faced with blockages that prevent our creative energies from flowing freely. The class will begin with breathing and meditation exercises to prepare our hearts and minds for openness and loving acceptance. Reflecting on our inner landscape and the second chakra, we will create expressive watercolor landscapes on paper, allowing the natural flow of watercolor to guide and inspire our paintings. Alternating between asanas, pranayama and brushstrokes, you will be guided along the way in basic watercolor techniques, but encouraged to follow your own artistic journey. All art supplies are included. Leave with an original watercolor painting and a renewed awareness and appreciation for your creative self.

Book Club

Enjoy the outdoors at Grand Island Town commons! Allow the wisdom of books guide your practice both on and off the mat. With our bi-monthly book club series we’ll take a deep dive into your consciousness by using literature as a form of self-inquiry. We will meet to share thoughts on our chosen book and learn the benefits of reading for mindfulness. Afterwards you’ll be guided though a short, all levels yoga flow to ground down into the words and leave with an open mind to keep reading. Didn’t read the book? No worries! We’d still love for you to join and share your thoughts on common themes or understandings or to get some ideas to add to your TBR pile. This months book: "Go as a River" By Shelley Read
